The owners are passionate about wine so it was no surprise when they decided to extend their folly.

After exhaustive research the virtually unknown (for vines) area of Rylstone was picked.

The climate, altitude, rainfall, soil and character of the area seemed perfect. Two vineyard sites were found and the first vines were planted in 1998, with the first vintage in 2002.

Our aim and that of our well-credentialed winemakers David Lowe and Jane Wilson, is to produce limited quantities of handcrafted, premium wine from our grapes – both single varietal and selective blends.

We are embracing biodynamic principles and quality and attention to detail are fundamental throughout.
